Joshua Larson’s connection to the Himalayan Institute began early, in 2008, when he was just 12 years old and first felt inspired by its teachings. That initial spark soon grew into something deeper. Two years later, a life-changing journey to Cameroon strengthened his understanding of the Institute’s mission and its ability to foster meaningful transformation both in the wider world and within each person.

Building on these formative experiences, Joshua continued to follow a path shaped by purpose, reflection, and service. His background reflects a long-standing commitment to learning from traditions that support personal growth and positive impact. Today, he brings that perspective to his work with warmth, insight, and a genuine appreciation for the transformative potential of this path.
