By profession, José is a business administrator, yet in 2019 his life shifted direction when yoga arrived during a period of searching for clarity and faith. What began as a deeply personal healing journey soon became his calling, and since 2021 he has been sharing the practice with care, love, and respect.
His training is internationally recognized, including a 200-hour certification in Rishikesh, India, at Hari Om Yoga Vidya School, where he studied the traditional foundations of the discipline. He is also a certified 50-hour Rocket® Vinyasa facilitator, trained in the Larry Schultz and David Kyle tradition, which equips him to lead dynamic and demanding classes. In addition, he completed a 200-hour certification in the Inbound Yoga System, with a focus on therapeutic, prenatal, and children’s yoga, supporting a holistic and adaptable approach for each student.
José’s classes create space for self-discovery, where conscious breath and movement meet, supported by the creative use of props to modify and deepen the practice on the mat. Through the balance of the energy of Hatha Vinyasa and the restorative stillness of Restorative Yoga, he guides students toward overall well-being. Beyond the mat, he carries this same awareness into his love of nature, healthy cooking, and a constant sense of wonder in life’s simplest details.
