With more than twenty years of experience working with ayahuasca medicine, Jose Huanaquiri brings deep knowledge, presence, and a strong ceremonial voice to his work. A gifted Mestizo ayahuascero from a nearby community, he is widely respected for the way his singing supports profound healing during ceremony. His steady dedication has made him a long-standing member of Refugio Altiplano Healing Center.
Jose also has a love for musical instruments, and at times he weaves them into his ayahuasca ceremonies. The result is an immersive soundscape that fills the ceremony house and enriches the experience for participants.
