Johnny, also known as Snowy Wilderness, has long felt destined to become a sex educator and leader in erotic community, and in recent years that path has started to come fully into view.
His move into kink facilitation was sparked by the shared confrontation with mortality that emerged during the pandemic quarantine. Through BateWorld, he discovered a meaningful outlet in the group masturbation parties that Philadelphia Jacks began hosting online, and he soon became a regular participant.
When vaccines became available, in a swift turnaround he credits in part to the gay male response to the AIDS crisis during his own formative years of growing up and coming out—he was born in 1980 and speaks of the U.S. and French medical establishments as having learned to anticipate and respond—he suggested to Albo, the founder of Philly Jacks, that if Albo continued handling the administrative side of Philly Jacks Online, Johnny would take over as host.
Since 2021, he has hosted hundreds of Philadelphia Jacks Online’s Hours Of Penis Power. Through this role, Johnny has become a familiar presence at New York Jacks and Faucet, NYC Inferno’s monthly watersports party, and he is also a frequent participant and facilitator with the Body Electric School, where he currently leads a monthly deconstructed book group titled Reading Our Leaves: A Book Club About The Gay Experience.
As a writer, he is developing a history of the sex positivity movement that also functions as a memoir of his own sex-positive life, a life deeply intertwined with that history. He is also preparing to launch his erotic community website, Bators Love Sex, and to begin working publicly as a Sacred Intimate. As an artist documenting his eros, he is getting ready to share his work online while continuing an active studio practice, with visitors invited to see and take part as he prepares for his next gallery show at NYC Inferno.
