
Originally from New York City and now based in Portugal, Johanna is a dedicated yoga teacher with more than 18 years of experience. She brings together Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Reiki, ayurveda, and Mobilization Therapy, weaving them into classes that feel both distinctive and deeply supportive. Her path began early with meditation and later grew into a lasting love for Vinyasa Flow. Johanna completed her 200-hour certification at Laughing Lotus in New York City and has since expanded her training in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Shaped by her own healing journey after trauma, she created the AMOR program, which combines ayurveda, meditation, self-offerings, and Reiki to encourage self-love and inner resilience. She also developed her signature Balance + Strength Yoga method, designed to do more than build physical strength. This approach supports confidence and emotional well-being, with a special focus on people living with physical disabilities.
