Jogen Salzberg (he/him), Sensei, began his meditation practice in the 1990s and went on to spend 15 years in residential training at Great Vow Zen Monastery in Oregon. As a fully authorized teacher in the Soto Zen lineage, he brings a depth of experience shaped by long-term commitment, disciplined practice, and years of study with teachers across a range of Buddhist traditions.
His approach is both grounded and integrative, weaving together classical Zen teachings with insights from Jungian psychology, Voice Dialogue, Paratheatre, and other influences. This broad perspective allows him to guide students with clarity, nuance, and a deep respect for the many paths of inner work.
