
Joe Wilcox is a lifelong knitter, fiber artist, and LGBTQIA+ activist whose work brings people together through creativity, conversation, and shared experience. He co-founded the Men's Knitting Retreats and has spent the past 17 years helping build a welcoming community through the annual Men's Spring Knitting Retreat at Easton Mountain.
For more than two decades, Joe has also been blogging about knitting and LGBTQIA+ issues, weaving together personal reflections, practical techniques, and thoughtful stories that explore the connection between craft and identity. As a recent author and seasoned workshop leader, he brings warmth, humor, and a deep appreciation for handmade traditions to every gathering he helps create.
