
With more than two decades of dedicated study and teaching, Jirka Hladiš brings a deep, thoughtful presence to Buddhist philosophy and meditation. Since 1997, he has been learning under the guidance of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, building a strong foundation in both scholarship and practice. In 2002, he joined the Nitartha Institute, and in 2007 he was authorized as a faculty member, reflecting his long-standing commitment to the path of study and contemplation.
Since 2006, Jirka has also served as adjunct faculty in the Religious Studies/Wisdom Traditions department at Naropa University, where he contributes to a broader dialogue on wisdom traditions and contemplative learning. His approach is rooted in careful inquiry, making him a valued teacher for those seeking a meaningful introduction to Buddhist thought and meditation practice.
