Jessica Denison
Description
Originally from Upstate New York, Jessica has made Durango her home since 2003. Before joining Vallecitos in 2015, she served as chief operating officer for Chinook Medical Gear, a local veteran-owned small business. A dedicated yoga practitioner since 1997, Jessica’s deep appreciation for the tradition eventually brought her to the Durango Dharma Center, where she has been a member since 2007. During nearly five years on the board of directors, she also held the role of board president. An avid traveler and lifelong learner, she has followed her practice to destinations including India, Belize, Costa Rica, and Telluride. At Vallecitos Mountain Retreat Center, Jessica finds a meaningful connection between her work and her practice, helping create an experience rooted in heart, presence, and the beauty of nature.
