Kula Facilitator. From an early age, Jessi has explored dance and creative movement, shaping the expressive teaching style she brings to her work today. Since earning her first RYT200 in 2008, she has led retreats and workshops across the US, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Bali, and Costa Rica. In 2012, she completed her RYT500 certification and now facilitates teacher trainings in the places she feels most inspired to share.
Jessi teaches a Vinyasa-based practice that weaves together dance, natural movement, and traditional yogic sequencing. She invites students to listen closely to the rhythm of the breath and to allow movement to unfold organically within each pose. Grateful for the path of yogic creativity, she delights in sharing this sense of bliss with others.
Along with her husband Zach and her parents, Jessi created Seven Springs Retreat Center in her mountain home of East Tennessee. Inspired by retreat centers around the world, Seven Springs offers a natural, holistic setting for local and global communities to experience high-quality holistic education in the United States. Retreats include yoga, massage, natural medicines and foods, creativity, social innovation, team-building, eco-building, and permaculture.
