Why I do this work: It brings me deep joy and a strong sense of purpose to witness people moving through profound transformation in just a few days. I also feel fortunate to work alongside some of the kindest, most inspiring people I’ve ever met. From my own experience, I know there is an entire universe within us, filled with extraordinary qualities — and I want everyone to have the chance to discover it. I believe the world needs more people willing to open their hearts.
How psychedelics changed my life: They have given me unforgettable, direct experiences of core Buddhist teachings and ideas found in many spiritual traditions. They have shown me, and reminded me, what it means to be human. They cut through illusion. They have opened my eyes even more to natural beauty, to patterns, and to mystery. They have helped me stay connected to playfulness, joy, silliness, and creativity. They have given me some of my most cherished memories with friends. They have helped me go ever deeper into the universe within. They have encouraged greater honesty, both with myself and with others. And they have offered me a glimpse of what genuine connection feels like.
