Jenn’s yoga journey began in 2010, and she has rarely been far from the mat since. While working in massage therapy at a local spa and yoga studio, she attended her first class there and was soon invited into a 200-hour teacher training in 2011. She embraced the opportunity wholeheartedly, drawn to the history and philosophy of yoga and to the many ways these teachings could enrich both her own life and her students’ experiences.
After teaching for about a year, she stepped away to focus on raising her two children. In 2019, she returned to the path with the Mindfulness and the Eightfold Path 200-hour training with Frances Murchison and Jamie Annette. The experience was deeply transformative, and she felt inspired to share what she had learned with others. Soon after, she accepted an internship at Wilmington Yoga Center and began the 300-hour Kunga Service Leadership program. Through the internship, she was able to teach public classes right away while also receiving mentorship from Jessica Bichler.
In 2022, Jenn completed her 300-hour training and internship and became a registered RYT 500 instructor. Her classes are lively and playful, blending music, breath, and movement to create a welcoming space for everyone.
