Jen discovered her love for yoga in 2009, after taking her first vinyasa class at Hot Yoga Inc. in Bellevue, WA. Since earning her teaching certificate in 2011, she has taught a wide range of yoga styles across Washington State. From Seattle to Walla Walla, and now back home in Bellingham, Jen continues to share her distinctive approach on the mat, inviting students to move beyond the physical practice and connect more deeply within.
With a strong focus on pranayama, groundedness, and intention holding, Jen creates space for students to return to themselves each time they step onto the mat. Her deep respect for yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda, led her to become a certified Ayurvedic Nutritionist after years of self-study. She believes that honoring intuition, while reconnecting body, mind, and energy centers, supports a truly holistic approach to wellness.
Jen weaves these teachings into her yoga sequences, blending the two sides of the yogic lifestyle in every class and beyond. A former school teacher, she has also shared the joy of yoga with children through Paper Crane Yoga. In addition, she brings weekly movement, breathwork, and mindful crafts to the Bellingham School District’s after-school enrichment program.
Across her classes and consultations, Jen leads with compassion and awareness, encouraging intention-setting and breathwork. By threading in the koshas and chakras, and honoring the rhythms of nature, she supports students and clients in leaving more rooted in their most authentic selves.
