Jeff is a coach, professor, and Storywork facilitator with Freedom Movement, supporting people as they move toward wholeness, freedom, and more meaningful connection. Drawing on experience in pastoring and business coaching, he helps others lead, parent, and love with presence, integrity, and care.
In his early 40s, after years of suppressing and avoiding his emotions, Jeff went through what he describes as an emotional awakening. He joined a coaching program expecting practical guidance on leadership and business, but instead encountered a deep process that invited him to explore his own story, including childhood experiences, insecurities, and fears. A few months after applying new communication tools from that process, he overheard his wife tell a friend that they had saved their marriage. He was stunned, since he had not realized it was in trouble. Like many men, he simply had not learned how to connect at the level of the heart.
Today, Jeff focuses on leadership development and emotional literacy. He serves as a professor at The Belonging Co College, where he teaches pastoral care, and as a Storywork facilitator with Freedom Movement. Jeff lives near Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife Lisa and their two youngest daughters, and enjoys spending time with their three adult children, including their new daughter-in-law and grandchild, on California’s Central Coast.
