JC Arkawa
Description
Juan Carlos Arkawa has dedicated 22 years to working with Ayahuasca. Trained in Colombia, he serves the sacrament with deep respect and honor. Of indigenous Colombian heritage from Los Pastos, JC is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, and arranger with more than 30 years of musical experience. His work blends instruments and ethnic music from around the world with the wisdom of ancestral cultures and modern technology. Self-taught, he plays more than 100 wind instruments. In 2014, the Congress of the Republic of Colombia recognized him for his artistic contribution. JC has performed in major Colombian cities and internationally in Rome, Prague, the United States, Greece, Spain, Germany, Austria, and beyond. He has also appeared on international television and radio, including Telemundo, Univision, and CCTV Channel.
