Welcome! I am Janina Proßowsky from Berlin. My teaching style is rooted in Vinyasa flow yoga, while weaving in all the elements I consider essential for a truly profound practice.
I have been represented by NEUE WEGE Reisen since 2014, and my professional path as a yoga teacher began in 2004. Today, I teach yoga, pilates, and rehabilitation sports in various studios, and I also lead independent classes in a yoga studio.
My background includes two years of physiotherapy studies, as well as qualifications as a state-certified gymnastics teacher, rehabilitation sports instructor, and medical ayurveda therapist, complemented by training in Peak Pilates.
I began my yoga journey in 2004 in India at SVYASA in Bangalore. Since then, I have continued my education with renowned teachers, including Christine May in the Shiva Rea tradition, Duncan Wong’s YogicArts, as well as Anna Trökes and Simon Park.
In my classes, I offer precise guidance on technique and alignment, making it easy to follow the flow even with your eyes closed. I love leading strong, flowing sessions, yet I also value quiet, meditative practice. Above all, I focus on the individual needs of each participant.
I have practiced yoga since the age of 16 and specialize in flow yoga and power pilates flow. For me, yoga is the only effective way to connect with my true nature in this crazy world. It is inner and outer cleansing, a daily connection with what is greater than each of us, the whole, and a devotion to knowledge and love that arises from the understanding that everything is interconnected.
I am certified by statutory health insurance providers.
