Janet Solyntjes

Janet Solyntjes offers programs and silent retreats rooted in both the Shambhala tradition and a secular mindfulness approach based on MBSR. Her work invites participants into a grounded, contemplative experience that supports presence, reflection, and deeper awareness.

As co-founder of the Center for Courageous Living, Janet has also contributed her expertise through teaching roles at Naropa University, the Center for Mindfulness, the Engaged Mindfulness Institute, and Mindful Leader. Her background reflects a wide range of experience in guiding mindful learning and practice within respected wellness and education settings.

Janet also facilitates the annual leadership retreat, Do Nothing, creating space for leaders to step back, slow down, and reconnect with clarity. Her approach is well suited for those seeking a quiet, thoughtful environment for mindfulness practice and personal renewal.
