Description

About Jane Gilbey

Welcome. This page shares the passions and path that have shaped my life. I have always felt deeply connected to nature, horses, and animals of all kinds. As a child, I loved being outdoors, and my early years were filled with dogs, cats, and long walks to woods, beaches, and parks with my mother, whose love of the natural world helped nurture my own.

At school, my projects were almost always about animals. I enjoyed creating nature scrapbooks and exploring anything connected to the outdoors. My real introduction to horses came when I was around eleven, and from that moment I was completely captivated. From then on, every essay or project seemed to feature horses, and I was often told off for daydreaming, imagining myself riding across meadows, jumping fences, or galloping alongside the car on long journeys.

Even as a young child, I remember making rose water by placing rose petals in a bowl of water, so it feels as though flowers were already calling me toward essences from an early age. My horses have guided me on a lifelong journey of self-discovery, shaping both my learning and my career choices.

My wish is to help people connect with horses on a deep level, to feel the grass beneath their feet, and to experience a closer bond with nature through flowers, trees, and essences.

Ongoing Training and CPD

In September 2020, I completed training for an Accredited Equine Assisted Learning Certificate, followed by the full Diploma in 2021. I feel this brings together my work beautifully, allowing me to combine many of my skills in supporting people with the help of my horses, who have been my greatest teachers. I am also continuing my training in Equestrian Tai Chi.

I remain committed to ongoing learning and personal development, and my CPD has included Animal Communication Training (ACT 1) with James French, Animal Communication with Jo Rose Therapies, and with Madeleine Walker (Author and Spiritual Teacher). I have also completed Pranic Healing Level 1.

A Radio Interview on The Nature Connections Show

I was interviewed by Sara Estelle Turner on The Nature Connections Show at Natural Health Radio, where I spoke about flower essences and how they can support animals.
