
Jan Chozen Bays is a respected co-abbot and long-time Zen teacher whose work has helped shape several important mindfulness communities in Oregon. Since 1985, she has served as the teacher for the Zen Community of Oregon, and in 2002 she helped establish Great Vow Zen Monastery, where she continues in a leadership role.
