Born in San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala, Izaias Sajvin Mendoza followed an unexpected path that led him from gardening, computers, and accounting into a profound spiritual vocation. A deep curiosity about different religions, along with a powerful dream, opened the door to his family’s ancestral wisdom and revealed his grandfather’s legacy as a Shaman. At the age of 21, after marrying his wife, Izabel, he was initiated as a Fire Shaman.
Today, Izaias is a respected practitioner devoted to preserving and sharing the traditions of his lineage. He facilitates Cacao and Fire Ceremonies and offers Mayan calendar readings, creating meaningful experiences rooted in ancestral knowledge and spiritual connection. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to service, community, and the continuation of sacred practices passed down through generations.
