Originally from Quebec, Canada, Isabelle carries Native American heritage through her grandfather and has long felt a deep connection to Indigenous culture and spirituality. Her path has taken her across the world, where she learned from tribes in Africa as well as Central and South America. Drawn by a lifelong interest in ancient wisdom and a profound spiritual calling, she was naturally led toward plant medicines, especially Ayahuasca. In many ways, she feels it was the Plant herself that invited her into this work, so they could serve together.
Her first encounter with the medicine took place in Canada with a Shipibo Maestro who was traveling there. Soon after, a chain of meaningful synchronicities led her to meet an elder Shipibo Maestro in Mexico, and she immediately sensed that a new path had opened. Not long afterward, she began organizing ceremonies, while learning from and assisting a Canadian Maestra from the same lineage. She then traveled to Peru for her first Master Plant diet. Nearly five years ago, she relocated to Peru to continue her apprenticeship within the Shipibo tradition, and she is now based in Moyobamba, San Martin.
Isabelle brings more than 25 years of experience in teaching and facilitation, with a strong background in creating workshops, teachings, and programs focused on personal growth and healing. She has developed retreat concepts, transformative workshops, and plant medicine healing journeys, and has also contributed to uplifting programs for homeless communities and mental health organizations. Her style is intuitive and heart-centered, and she creates safe spaces where unity, harmony, joy, peace, and self-reflection can all coexist. For nearly seven years, she traveled across Canada with a project she created called Cercle de Vie, sharing Indigenous wisdom in schools and supporting teachers with tools to foster greater harmony in educational and organizational settings. She continues to seek innovative and respectful ways to bring ancestral teachings, spiritual knowledge, and scientific discoveries together in service of expanded consciousness. She also plays music, sings, and is deeply passionate about well-being, plants, and healing.
Isabelle speaks English, French, and Spanish.
