Since 2009, I have been sharing my deep passion for wellbeing in Bonn. As a physiotherapist and experienced Iyengar yoga teacher, I offer weekly group classes as well as one-to-one sessions in my own practice. All of these sessions follow a therapeutic approach. My many years of medical experience have shown me how powerfully this method can support the body in cases of physical discomfort and actively contribute to the healing process.
Working with the finest details allows us to reach deep into the tissue layers. Through consistent practice, muscles, fascia, and bones can find a new balance in relation to gravity. Areas under strain are relieved, rigid parts become more mobile, and weaker areas gain strength. This physical clarity also has a calming effect on the mind and opens the door to a profound spiritual experience.
Yoga is a living process that accompanies and develops us throughout life. During my time at the Iyengar Yoga Institute Rhein-Ahr, I was captivated by its anatomical precision. I will never forget how I felt after my first class: clearly aligned and internally organized. Today, my own practice and regular continuing education are at the heart of what I do, so I can share my lived experience in an authentic way.
For me, yoga is a form of self-care in a fast-paced world. Beyond its health benefits, the spiritual dimension has become increasingly important over the years. In practice, time seems to stand still; I feel connected to myself and to the body as it aligns with precision. When these processes become automatic, space for stillness emerges.
