Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ignacio spent his early adult years following both artistic and theological interests, travelling widely through India, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Those journeys shaped his visual search for what he believes lives within everyone: a sacred, loving presence. During this period, art also became a form of meditation, opening the door to a deeper exploration of spirituality.
He later made his home in London, earned a Fine Arts degree from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and went on to work at Heatherleys School of Fine Art in Chelsea. As his mindfulness practice deepened, he attended a number of retreats, began volunteering, and trained with Breathworks Mindfulness Centre.
Ignacio is a registered mindfulness teacher and professional artist based in Andalusia, Spain, where he leads workshops and courses. His work offers a distinctive, free-flowing exploration of presence and awareness, blending modern Western art with Japanese Zen art.
Ignacio is described as kind, positive, enthusiastic, and highly skilled. Participants have called mindful art with him a wonderful discovery, one that will continue to inspire them for years. Many speak of his knowledge, empathy, compassion, and the care he brings to his teaching.
His beautiful spirit and passion are said to shine through everything he does, and students often mention how privileged they felt to learn from him. His approach has been praised as inspiring, thoughtful, well prepared, and deeply responsive.
Others have shared how much they loved his course, especially as an introduction to art and creativity, and how his teaching helped them reconnect with a long-lost inner artist. He is also celebrated for creating a space that feels healing, joyful, and transformative.
