My path began with studies in sports science, followed by three decades of intensive practice in the yoga world that deeply shaped my teaching. My training includes a range of traditions such as Iyengar, Astanga, Kundalini, and Luna yoga, which I studied in respected centers in Boston, Vienna, Munich, and Berlin. I have also explored Vini yoga in depth, along with the art of individual guidance, with Dr. Imogen Dalmann and Martin Soder in Berlin. In addition, I continue to study the subtle practice of reciting Vedic mantras under Radha Sundarajan in Chennai. Since 2009, my work has been officially recognized as a certified yoga therapist by the Austrian Yoga Association (BYO) and the European Yoga Union (EYU).
Since 1995, I have created theme-based workshops that go far beyond simple asana sequences. In close cooperation with leading institutions such as the GEA Academy, Roche, and Hilfswerk Salzburg, I have been leading courses for diverse groups since 1999. My many years of teaching practice and solid expertise in yoga therapy allow me to respond to the individual needs of participants in every retreat.
I am delighted to share my broad knowledge through education and advanced training, both as program director at the “Yogazentrum Alpen” and as a lecturer at the University of Salzburg. As a cosmopolitan teacher, I have developed inspiring international collaborations, including courses that combine yoga with climbing in Greece and spiritual journeys with ayurveda treatments in India.
It is a true joy for me to accompany you on your personal yoga journey. I am drawn to yoga for its profound philosophical foundation and the view of humanity it offers. It has helped me feel freer and happier than ever before. Through my individualized teaching, I remain a student myself and continue to refine my approach with every session.
