
Henry Whitfield is a highly experienced psychotherapist, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy trainer, and Accredited Advanced TIR trainer specialising in PTSD therapy. He is also a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with an MSc in CBT and a Visiting Research Fellow at Regent’s University – School of Psychotherapy and Psychology.
With more than seven years of experience leading and supervising brief therapy projects for PTSD, Henry supported Victim Support and Mind in London gun crime hot spots, combining CBT and TIR in trauma-focused work. Since 2003, he has trained over 1,500 psychological therapists and continues to supervise mental health professionals in ACT and trauma work within the NHS.
Known for his deep commitment to psychological healing and professional development, Henry brings extensive clinical insight, practical expertise, and a grounded, compassionate approach to his work. He is also a passionate integral practitioner.
