Yoga has been part of my daily life since 2008. A physically demanding situation at that time led me to Rio de Janeiro, where a German-speaking physiotherapist introduced me to the practice of yoga according to B.K.S. Iyengar. Fascinated by this precise method, I practiced every day to regain mobility. The sensitive guidance in the asanas and the opportunity to refine postures with props brought me relief quickly. From then on, I sought classes with different teachers, until practice became my great passion.
As simply attending classes was no longer enough, I decided in 2016, on my mentor’s recommendation, to complete a four-year yogasana training with 800 hours at the Sebastian-Kneipp Academy in Bad Wörishofen. I successfully completed it in 2019 and left my former work environment. I finished the additional 200-hour continuum in 2024. Since 2017, I have been regularly leading small groups.
Alongside my voluntary work in the yoga association within the Kneipp Bund e. V., I continue to take part in workshops and classes, both in person and online. At regular intervals, I also design and lead workshops on a wide range of topics.
It always brings me great joy to witness the enthusiasm and energy of my participants and to support small breakthroughs as well as physical improvements. Practicing and teaching yoga according to B.K.S. Iyengar means preserving health and strength for me. I look forward to accompanying you on your yoga journey and offering you an authentic retreat experience.
