I am drawn to this work because I am passionate about what it means to live fully, truthfully, and with a deep sense of aliveness as we move through the human experience. I love walking alongside people on that journey, in authenticity, rawness, truth, vulnerability, sorrow, joy, grief, and bliss.
When we feel safe enough to let go of our masks and reveal more of who we really are, that is where the magic begins. Whether we are gathered around a fire, beneath the stars, hearts open in song, ritual, or laughter, or meeting the depths of challenge and struggle, this work brings me closer to my own aliveness and feels deeply meaningful.
How psychedelics changed my life: Psychedelics have been part of my life for more than 20 years, and I hold a deep trust in working with them alongside other practices and therapy. They have been an ally in helping me soften my own mask and armour, meet the world with greater presence, openness, and connection, and experience more meaning in my life.
They have also led me to lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences. Together with therapy, they have helped me transform deeply rooted destructive belief systems and heal significant trauma. They have supported me in building a more loving relationship with my body, deepening my connection with nature, and seeing more beauty in the world. They help me process feelings, express creatively, and release cathartically. I am more free and more myself because of this ongoing journey.
A book I wish everyone could read: The Lord of the Rings ;), Your Blueprint for Pleasure, Big Magic.
My advice for someone getting ready for a retreat: Make space to slow down, listen inward, move your body, journal, and spend time in nature. Stay curious about your inner landscape and the world around you. Find a great therapist, even if you feel you do not need one. And if life feels too busy for any of that, create one small moment to breathe in nature and notice what is happening inside. Give yourself a little love and trust that you already have everything you need.
