Devoted to preserving Kalaripayattu in its most authentic form, this master has spent a lifetime nurturing one of Kerala’s greatest martial traditions. Beginning his training at the age of five, he rose to become one of the state’s most celebrated Gurukkals, winning every Kalaripayattu championship in Kerala from 1990 to 2001. His deep expertise and dedication have also taken him to international stages in multiple countries, where he has shared the art with audiences around the world.
Beyond his own achievements, he has played an important role in shaping the next generation of practitioners, training respected teachers and masters active today, including Gurukkal Shinto Mathew. Through every center carrying the Kalari Kendram name, his lineage and influence continue to live on, keeping this ancient practice strong, respected, and faithfully preserved.
