Biography

Gianna serves as the Coalition Coordinator for Generation Wild’s Pueblo Region as part of NWDC, helping advance a multi-year campaign that inspires kids, youth, and young adults to reconnect with the natural world. Her work reflects a deep commitment to wellness, access, and meaningful outdoor experiences for the next generation.

She joined NWDC after completing graduate studies in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in wilderness therapy. Before that, she spent several years working in Colorado public health and at three universities, where she supported student wellness with a special focus on connecting students to the outdoors.

A proud Pueblo local, Gianna often shares that Pueblo remains the best community she has ever been part of. She is grateful to have been raised there and continues to bring that local pride and perspective into the work she does.
