Gavin Larsen (R.TCM.P., R.Ac.) is a specialized practitioner recognized by the CTCMA of British Columbia. Since 2014, he has focused on moving beyond one-size-fits-all healthcare and toward the physiological roots of recovery. Whether supporting athletes or people dealing with chronic hair loss and digestive concerns, his aim is to uncover and address the specific systemic blockage — whether it is a delivery problem, a nutrient barrier, or a signaling error — that may be preventing the body’s natural healing response.
Formerly an instructor at Pacific Rim College, Gavin is guided by a root-cause philosophy. He understands that the same underlying patterns behind slow injury recovery can also contribute to digestive reactivity and hair thinning. By combining classical Chinese Medicine with modern methods such as electro-acupuncture and scalp activation, he creates individualized treatment plans that support long-term vitality rather than short-term fixes. Outside the clinic, he explores the connection between strength training, culinary arts, and longevity, continually refining the tools he uses to help clients overcome internal barriers and maintain systemic balance.
His practice includes Systemic Restoration through Sports and Orthopedic Acupuncture, Neurological Signaling through Electro-Acupuncture for stress and hormonal regulation, Manual Therapies such as Advanced Cupping, Gua Sha, and Scalp Activation, and Classical Foundation work including Channel Diagnosis and Balance System Acupuncture.
