Fernando

Curandero, Huachumero, Firekeeper, Translator

Fernando was born in Ecuador and comes from the lineage of the Salasacas from the central region of the Ecuadorian Andes and the Purupechas from South Mexico. He has been walking the Medicine Path since he was 17 years old and at the age of 21 he began his path on The Red Road as a vision quester and a supporter of Dances (Sun Dances, Spirit Dances, and Raymi’s).

He has trained with multiple Master Teachers, not only on the path of the red road but also Tarot and traditional Andean Cleansings. Fernando’s traditional cleansing are a practice that has been passed down to him from the many generations of women in his family.

Fernando’s mission is to offer his service to those who feel ready to put their willingness forward to know themselves. It is his greatest joy to share his pathway with all beings who are answering the call of their heart, the call to see themselves for who and what they truly are.

You can find Fernando at Gaia providing cleansings, tarot card readings, translating in ceremonies, firekeeping, and being of service to all. He is a blessing for all of us here at Gaia and he brings a real warmth to all of the people who come to stay with us.
