Born and raised in Costa Rica, Ezio comes from both of the country’s coasts: the Pacific side through his father from Guanacaste, and the Caribbean Atlantic side through his mother from Limón. He sees himself as a true son of the ocean, and his way of life reflects that connection. He loves spending time by the sea, caring for it whenever he can, and passing that same appreciation on to his wife and children. Since childhood, his family has explored Costa Rica’s coastlines, camping and embracing the pura vida lifestyle. Family is his greatest passion, and he is also deeply devoted to surfing, a practice he has pursued with enthusiasm since the age of 18.
Ezio has spent the past 8 years working in tourism in a variety of roles across Costa Rica. His studies in tourism and cooking have supported a career that has taken him through restaurants, tour operations, and hotels. At Soltara, he takes on many responsibilities, overseeing local operations and coordinating the maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen, and security teams. He works consistently to create a smooth experience for both guests and staff, while also helping enhance the center’s grounds with new plants, projects, and care. His dedication, attention to detail, and steady presence are central to the center’s daily operations, and his warm smile and kind heart are deeply valued.
Ezio enjoys working at Soltara because it reflects who he is: someone who finds purpose in helping others feel happy, supported, and well cared for.
