Evelina is a devoted yoga teacher whose work is rooted in the desire to bring more light into the world. With nearly ten years of teaching experience and a 500-hour certification, she remains committed to growth as both a teacher and a student. Through her work with people of varied physical abilities, she has seen firsthand how transformative yoga can be.
Her path of exploration inspired her to create Chakra Yoga, a distinctive approach that connects the physical, emotional, and mental layers of the self through movement and meditation. While many mainstream yoga styles focus mainly on the body, Evelina weaves meditation into every class, highlighting its deep healing potential. She experienced this power personally during a period of heartbreak and profound emotional pain, an experience that deepened her dedication to sharing the practice.
Evelina feels equally at home teaching groups and working one-on-one, where she continues to learn from every student she meets. She especially enjoys the creative process of shaping workshops, Moon circles, and yoga retreats. Her teaching is closely connected to nature, the elements, the moon, and the sun, bringing a sense of harmony and grounding to each session. Alongside yoga, she is trained in Thai Yoga Massage, Chakra healing, and Reiki, and draws from a strong foundation in ancient yogic wisdom, the Chakra system, energy healing, Daoism, and Tantra.
Evelina’s life has unfolded through a long series of endings and new beginnings. Originally from Bulgaria, she moved to the UK in 2001 and navigated the demands of raising a child, marriage, home life, and a demanding career in structural engineering, all within a highly masculine industry. The constant pressure led to burnout and, eventually, the end of her marriage. Yoga entered her life in 2013 and became a guiding light, helping her emerge from darkness. In 2019, she made a bold decision to leave the corporate world and spend a year in Thailand immersed in yoga and healing practices. When she returned to the UK during the pandemic, she established her Yoga & Thai Massage practice, where she continues to share her passion for self-discovery and transformation.
