From as far back as I can remember, I have been fascinated by people — especially by how individuals grow, how relationships shape us, and what it means for life to truly work well.
My enthusiasm for different cultures and for the richness of this world inspired me to found the Center for Potenzialentfaltung. Through this center, I want to bring together knowledge and make it useful for individual, entrepreneurial, and social development.

When I began my professional journey as a psychologist 30 years ago, I was driven by the wish to help people out of crises with constructive, solution-oriented methods. After about 10 years of passionate work as a psychotherapist, coach, and seminar leader, I founded the Center for Self-Management. At the time, self-management felt like the right umbrella term for everything I offered in the field of psychology, because ultimately it is always about taking responsibility for one’s own life and shaping it as well as possible.
Today, however, I want to go further. Life is not as predictable as the term self-management suggests. We need to go deeper and understand ourselves more fully. Yes, it is important to orient our lives toward a goal — but we also live in an uncertain world that calls for intuition and trust. In the end, it is not about controlling ourselves as well as possible, but about living in the best possible alignment with our nature and our circumstances. It is about riding the waves of life while bringing our potential into full bloom. It is about moving freely through life, rather than following rigid maps.
This is why we are here. Life wants growth. That is its nature, and it also wants our personal growth. But not in the sense of “faster, higher, further, better.” Our task is to recognize ourselves and live according to our own nature. To shape our lives in harmony with who we are. That is how we do what is best — for ourselves and for others.
This matters especially now. Success is no longer measured by wealth and fame, but by feeling aligned and being happy: by inner peace, a sense of meaning, fulfilling relationships, personal growth, and greater connection. It is about discovering the gift we carry for the world and sharing it.
Potenzialentfaltung has a social dimension that goes far beyond self-management. It is a co-creative process in which individuals or systems unfold as fully as possible within the environment of other individuals or systems. It is not only about shaping inner processes, but also about creating the conditions that make growth possible. This is what I stand for. This is my vision.
With the founding of the Center for Potenzialentfaltung, I want to connect with colleagues who share this vision. Together, we aim to offer a diverse, professional range of services, all serving one purpose: supporting our clients in fully unfolding their potential — for a fulfilling, aligned life, for loving relationships, and for strong, successful businesses.
