In 2005, Esther was working as an addictions and mental health clinician while also modeling fitness part time when a close friend offered a simple suggestion: “Esther, you need yoga.” It was love at first sweat. With a background in social work and mental health, she quickly recognized the connection between physical practice and emotional healing, and felt her own transformation begin. That led her to her first teacher training in 2006, so she could share that gift with her clients and patients.
From there, Esther grew into roles as staff and faculty for future teacher trainings, where she oversaw posture clinics and co-instructed CPR and First Aid certifications from 2008 to 2010. Today, she finds joy in teaching students at Yoga 360 and in studios around the world. When she is not in the hot room, she is still probably sweating — hiking, playing in the ocean, or spending as much time as possible with her dog, John Bubba Wick.
In Esther’s classes, students can expect an energetic practice with a strong focus on precision, alignment, and breath. She believes yoga is for every BODY and is committed to helping each practice work for YOU. Come with an open heart and open mind, work hard, laugh, and let the rest unfold.
