Since earning her 200-hour Mindfulness-Based Yoga certification in 2021, Erin Powley has been sharing joyful, grounding, and transformative yoga classes with students of all ages. She later completed her 300-hour training at Wilmington Yoga Center in 2023, followed by her 95-hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Youth Alliance Yoga of Chicago in 2025. Inspired by teachers Jess Bichler, Noelle Whittington, and Frances Murchison, she brings mindfulness, compassion, and playfulness into each class.
Erin serves as director of Wilmington Yoga Center’s Kids Summer Camps, co-creator of the 15-hour Conscious Kids Yoga Workshop, and lead teacher in WYC’s kids yoga series. In her adult vinyasa yoga classes at Wilmington Yoga Center, she offers a creative and playful invitation to move with ease. Her professional role also includes studio manager, head of marketing, and retreat coordinator.
She leads both national and international retreats, grounded in the belief that everyone benefits from time to unplug and reconnect with their inner sense of wonder and adventure. Erin’s own path began in 2017, when yoga helped ease anxiety and restore her connection to her body. Today, she draws inspiration from mindful movement, using breath and presence to feel steady and balanced. With a lighthearted, down-to-earth approach, she celebrates the playfulness yoga can awaken in every student.
