I began practicing yoga more than 25 years ago, taking it on and off while training for marathons and triathlons. After having a child, I stepped away from running and returned to the mat more regularly, discovering a grounding I hadn’t realized I needed. In 2021, I completed my Vinyasa teacher training at Fahrenheit to deepen my practice and invest in myself in a new way.
With a background as a former special education teacher, university professor, and now an educational consultant, I quickly found that I love teaching yoga as much as I love practicing it. I hold a PhD in special education and behavior analysis, and yoga continues to shape my work in creating environments where every child feels loved, valued, and truly belongs—and where the adults who support them feel confident, cared for, and well. My classes invite students to connect with their breath, body, and spirit, discover something new about themselves, and leave feeling grounded and whole.
