
Erika Salazar is a Colombian woman based in the Kamentsa Biyan reservation in Sibundoy, Putumayo, where she is deeply rooted in community life and cultural preservation. Through her work, she supports the projects of the OIOC organization and the Kamentsa community in education, health, and environmental care. She serves as the custodian of the Healing Altar of the Amazonian Kamentsa Nation, bringing more than 20 years of experience in plant medicines and healing arts.
Her path has been shaped under the guidance of Traditional Medicine Man Taita Juan Bautista Agreda Chindoy, and she also holds professional training as a medical herbalist in the Vitalist Tradition with the NAIHM. In addition, Erika is a Holistic Therapist from the University of Esneca in Spain. As a mother of two children, she brings both dedication and lived wisdom to her work, offering a grounded presence connected to tradition, care, and healing.
