Eric Hamlyn

Based in West Vancouver, Eric shares his life with his partner Thomas and serves as Minister of Faith & Families at Lynn Valley United Church in North Vancouver. He brings a warm, welcoming presence to every space he enters, shaped in part by his Newfoundland roots and a natural gift for hospitality.

Outside of his ministry work, Eric enjoys road trips, coffee, sushi, and long walks along the seawall. His approach is grounded, friendly, and open-hearted, creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable, seen, and encouraged to show up as themselves. He is especially passionate about fostering brave, inclusive spaces where meaningful connection can flourish.
