Eric Fraser (LCAT, MA, MT-BC) is a music therapist and Licensed Creative Arts therapist with a special focus on somatic therapies. He brings a grounded, body-centered, and trauma-informed approach to somatic music therapy, offering sessions that invite participants into deeper awareness, regulation, and connection through sound.
His work is shaped by a lifelong devotion to Indian Classical Music, especially the bansuri flute. Eric studied within the Guru-Sishya Parampara tradition, living with his Guru, Pandit Gopal Roy, in Kolkata, India. Through extensive taleem, or oral teachings, he developed a playing style rooted in purity of tone, authenticity, and the living tradition of his gharana, or lineage.
With a rare combination of clinical training and musical heritage, Eric creates an experience that feels both therapeutic and deeply traditional. His presence is well suited for those seeking a mindful, culturally informed, and emotionally resonant music therapy experience.
