Originally from Sweden, Enrique has called the rainforest home full-time since 2015. His path to this life was shaped by years of travel and a long struggle with severe depression, until he discovered profound relief through ayahuasca. That experience became a turning point, eventually leading him to found La Luna after spending a year living alongside shamans and deepening his understanding of the work.
Enrique brings extensive experience to his role, having participated in and facilitated more than 1,000 ayahuasca ceremonies. He is certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR, and is also an active member of the Zendo Project by MAPS. Alongside his work in the rainforest, he continues his studies in theology remotely at the Stockholm School of Theology, reflecting a lifelong interest in healing, meaning, and spiritual exploration.
