Emmanuel Manirarora is a yoga and mindfulness instructor with AZAHAR Foundation Rwanda. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Rwanda and has also developed strong expertise in home organic gardening and sustainable farming, training many communities in practical, earth-friendly skills.
His path in wellness includes 10 days of noble silence with Dhama, as well as a 200-hour intensive yoga teacher training with Africa Yoga Project in Nairobi. Over the past 8 years, he has continued learning from yoga and qigong experts, and he is a Level 1 Breath, Body, and Mind (BBM) certified instructor through Dr. Brown from Breath~Body~Mind.
Emmanuel began teaching yoga in 2014 and continues to share his practice with communities across Rwanda. His sessions reach a wide range of groups, from juvenile centers and university student associations to healing centers and hospitals. He is especially inspired by the joy he sees in his students, saying that nothing pleases him more than watching them smile after class.
