Eileen Manela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Litchfield, Connecticut, who brings a thoughtful, grounded perspective to both psychotherapy and yoga. Her first yoga class, taken in college more than 25 years ago, sparked an immediate connection—one she quickly recognized as more than just exercise. For Eileen, yoga became a practice that strengthens the body while also creating space for calm, clarity, and inner balance.
Deeply inspired by the lifestyle and culture of yoga, she is passionate about sharing its benefits with others. Eileen is a certified 200-hour Kripalu instructor and remains dedicated to the path of yoga in both her personal and professional life. She often describes yoga as something that has changed, and even saved, her life more than once.
When she is not working with clients, she continues to encourage her young adult twin sons to join her on the mat—still holding out hope that they will discover the practice for themselves.
