
Eijun Linda Cutts has been part of San Francisco Zen Center since 1971, bringing decades of devoted practice and leadership to the Zen community. Ordained as a priest in 1975, she has lived and practiced at Tassajara, SFZC’s City Center, and Green Gulch Farm, where she has resided since 1993.
In 1996, Linda received Dharma transmission from Tenshin Reb Anderson. She later served as Abbess of San Francisco Zen Center from 2000 to 2007, was appointed Abiding Abbess of Green Gulch Farm Zen Center in 2010, and became Central Abbess of SF Zen Center in 2014.
Today, she continues to teach and guide practice periods and retreats at Tassajara, Green Gulch, and other settings. For many years, she has also led Yoga-Zen retreats and workshops, offering participants a grounded and inspiring blend of meditation, mindful movement, and Zen practice.
