After traveling the world in search of the perfect place to bring our vision to life and call home, we found ourselves in the beautiful region of Umbria. For the past 14 years, we lived in Amsterdam, working hard and making every decision from the head rather than the heart. We kept doing what seemed sensible, not necessarily what felt right, and eventually it became clear that this way of living was no longer sustainable. A major change was needed.
So we chose to follow our hearts and listen more deeply to what we truly felt. Of course, we still checked in with our minds from time to time to make sure we weren’t doing anything completely reckless. In the end, our heart and mind came into full agreement — and that is what led us here. Today, we are exactly where we are meant to be.
