After completing medical school in Switzerland, Therese spent several years in research at Harvard and in Zürich before earning her specialization in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Over three decades in private practice, she gradually moved from psychoanalysis toward therapies that support emotional release. For the last 20 years, her work has centered on an integrated approach combining Ayurveda, yoga, and Western psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
When the intensive phase of hosting her own mountain retreats in Switzerland came to an end, Therese began exploring different combinations of breathwork, psychoactive plants, and psychotherapy. Over time, she also developed a deep interest in Human Design, a passion that has remained with her well into retirement.
Human Design is a complex system rooted in ancient wisdom from both East and West. It offers insight into how we are individually “programmed” as human beings, while also providing practical guidance for living in alignment with who we are meant to be. The aim is greater satisfaction, success, and better health.
