Dr. Samantha Petrin is deeply drawn to the connection between the mind, emotions, and body, and to the wisdom held within that relationship. She has witnessed how trauma can remain stored in the body and later appear as physical dysfunction. Her healing approach centers on resilience, offering safe spaces where unprocessed stressful life experiences can be gently worked through. She believes somatic-based practices provide some of the most direct support by engaging the nervous system and helping the body restore itself.
Dr. Sam’s practice focuses on gut health and mental health. She is especially passionate about supporting people with anxiety, PTSD, nervous system dysregulation, and digestive concerns such as IBS, chronic constipation, gas, and bloating.
She has additional training in Craniosacral Therapy and Breathwork Facilitation, and offers both for nervous system regulation. Her scope of practice also includes clinical nutrition, lifestyle counselling, botanical medicine, physical examinations, acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, and laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys intuitive dance, breathwork, meditation, and the soothing sound of ocean waves at the beach. She is LGBTQ friendly.
