
Dr. Leo Taylor (he/they/Daddy) is a queer, disabled, neurodivergent, genderqueer transman with a Ph.D. from Cornell University and more than 20 years of teaching experience across the U.S. and Canada. As an anti-racist educator, facilitator, and evolutionary biologist, Leo brings a rare blend of warmth, humor, and scientific insight to conversations about gender, authenticity, and liberation.
With 26 years of transition informing his perspective, Leo’s work is deeply rooted in lived experience and a commitment to visibility as a healing and transformative practice. A longtime member of the bear community, he first attended Bear Your Soul in 2015 and later served as faculty and co-host in 2016, reflecting a sustained connection to the community he supports.
