
Dr. Kena Westergaard is a clinical neuropsychologist and the founder and Clinical Director of Neurobehavioral Consultants, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the care of complex neurological and psychiatric conditions. Educated at the University of Illinois at Chicago and through a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University, she is known for her work in neuropsychological assessment, concussion and TBI evaluation, cognitive and learning disorders, and mind-body health. Her approach combines mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, family systems work, biofeedback, neurofeedback, and evidence-based mind-body practices. After decades of seeing the limits of conventional treatment, she was drawn to psychedelic medicine for its potential to support deep healing in a safe, intentional setting. At SANCTUM, she oversees the medical and safety screening process with scientific precision and a compassionate presence, helping establish the tone of safety, humanity, and care that shapes the experience.
