Born on 08 December 1985 in New Tehri, Uttarakhand, Dr. Hemlata showed an early interest in learning beyond the classroom. While her school grades were average, she stood out in debate, speech, and school-level projects. After finishing school, she completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Combined (P.G.) Institute of Medical Science & Research, Dehradun. During her studies, she began research on the effects of physiotherapy for rib fractures and spinal-cord injuries, building expertise in Yoga Anatomy and Physio-Yoga-Therapy.
